I tell everyone to avoid that movie, it is really cheesy, it has bad actors and the facts are not accurate imo.

It was aired on Hallmark sometime ago and the movie is just awfull. not truetfull at all, and just plain dull and cheesy with such bad actors...

Well, I'm half way through the movie and 2 things strike me already. Firstly, this film sort of eliminates the French Canadian roots so inherent and important to Celine's life. What's that about? Anyone would think she was from Idaho or something.

Anyway, secondly this movie should serve to remind the world of Celine's true talent and beauty. The lead seems to have been coached to imitate the power of Celine's voice but she fails miserably, turning out poor renditions of some of the greatest songs ever recorded.

I also think this fairytale of a life story could benefit from a new authorised version, still portraying a truthful warts and all perspective but also being true to the real Celine as much as the salacious tabloid goss!

Bring on Celine - the true story!

Hmph I've never seen it before. I don't think even the best of actors could top Celine.

I just finished watching Extreme Home Makeover with Celine! She was terrific. Her dress and hair was phenomenal! So sweet :wub:

This is on again on Saturday on the same channel. For being about Celine, this is on UK tv quite a lot! I rarely watch it when it's on as we know 99% more about her and her life then what the producers of that film do.
