doing some mathematics, if she keeps selling at that rate then her total would be around 210k. i hope the people who saw the ama's yesterday would go out and buy her cd today and tomorrow, maybe that would increase her total

I wonder whether HITS Daily Double is already including the sales from the Walmart special edition. For the past couple of weeks Walmart has reported the Eagles album sales at the very end of the tracking period. Hope this is the case with TC, so the number will be bigger after the sales data are finalized tomorrow.

Hits Daily Double doesn't use stores as Billboard. Billboard uses different stores.

What do you mean by "doesn't use stores"?

I guess you mean that Billboard gets data from stores that are tracked during the week by Nielsen Soundscan, but additionally from stores that don't use scanning devices but do report to the magazine, which is a minimal percentage of total sales. But all the stores that are tracked by Hits Daily Double are then included in the Billboard final sales data.

Hits Daily Double uses different stores then Billboard. Many of the same stores but not all. Hits uses Urban stores and Billboard not too much.
I have seen a difference of 30,000 on the same ablum between Hits and Billboard.

No. 5 in Germany is really bad! That means all the wannabe musicians and singers (Dieter Bohlen & Mark Medlock, etc.) have sold more than world superstar Celine did
I expected her to debut within the Top 3 if not as No. 1!

Wait, I thought the official U.S. Billboard numbers come in on Wednesday, not Tuesday. Up to what day do they count sales, tonight by 11:59 PM? I'm confused as to where all these numbers come from.
I'm so disappointed. Is she really only going to sell 200K albums?

Yes her total will be around 200,000 copies sold. Some fans are in denial and still think it will reach 300,000 but they are in for a huge shock tomorrow when she only pulls around 200,000. First week sales aren't everything (although they are important). Let's just pray that this is a steady seller and atleast reaches 1 million sold.

I dont necessarily care that she comes in #1, but I wanted her to at least beat Shitney's numbers. 200K is ridiculous

Now Alicia is expected to sell 720,000 copies opening week, and Celine will come in 3rd with 206,000 sales.
We know this because hits are RARELY ever off on their estimates. They come REALLY close to the actual Billboard numbers.
