September 14, 2009 will be a happy day for the Belgian sport... Only a month after Kim Clijster (former Nr. 1) came back from a 2 year's retirement she did something what nobody dreamed off... After beating the Williams sisters she also won the finals and beated the Danish Caroline Wozniacki... In her previous career Kim only managed to win 1 Grand Slam which was the 2005 US Open. 4 years later and after playing 3 tournaments after she started again playing she won her second Grand Slam ever... The 2009 US Open... She's only the 3th "tennis mama" to win a Grand Slam and the first wild card ever to win a US Open... She's also the first unseeded player to win the same US Open... Kim "Comeback Mama" Clijsters wrote tennis history today with winning the US Open... It may not have been her best game ever (the games against Williams where much better) but neverless she did something what even she didn't expected to achieve...

It's a great day for the sport in Belgium but it's also a great day in women's tennis...

I don't think most of Belgium is waiting on her comeback... And I doubt many people in the tennisworld either (she wasn't the most loved person you know)...
But it was to be expected... Seeing that Kim has such great succes I'm pretty sure that Justine will announce her comeback in the next couple of days... Just watch the news :icon_mrgreen:
