"Alone" is number 1 in the European Web Charts. I was also told through email that there was a cheating on voting with regards to the number 1 last week and fell to number 5 this week. So, Celine's "Alone , which was number 2 last week , may have taken the number the number 1 spot last week if there was no cheating.


Let's vote , vote, vote, to keep Alone number 1 again! :D

The AC airplay in the US of ''Taking Chances'' seems to be stabalizing for what it's worth.

Taking Chances is going up again on AC Chart (mediabase)
with 1608 spins (+133)

maybe it could hit the top 5 in  future weeks.

We have Skyradio (alias Celine-fm). One of the most listen radio station in Holland
They are playing Celine song all the day (every 3h).
A lot Taking Chances and Alone.
Also a lot old songs like beauty and the beast, mhwgo, a new day, i'm alive, think twice, because you loved me, it's all coming back to me now enz.

Taking Chances? Haven't heard it played here but it doesn't mean it's not being played here 'cos i rarely hear music when i go out of my cousin's house and work.


Taking Chances didn't really do well in the charts. It has something to do with the music video. I even think, TC is a better song than A New Day Has Come.

A New Day has Come is one of celine's best songs ever. I can't agree that TC is better. That song (TC) doesn't quite sounds like celine. And vocals-wise, ANDHC is a hands down.

"The Prayer" should climb on the chart now, cause it gets hell lot of promo on Grammys and Celine's CBS special, now a digital single.  :mdr:

She should've focused less on the US...it's the toughest market for many artists. Instead she should've made the song a hit in Europe and especcially the UK, where she didn't do Jonathan Ross and Parkinson (which no longer excists, the show that is  :giggle: ).

According to MediaBase, TC has 1710 spins today! That's a new peak for the song on AC stations!

The song is not dead at all on AC radio stations, but its effects on the album sales are over!

Moreover, the song got ONE spin on... URBAN station :blink: :huh:

This is GREAT news, but why is it still number 7 on the charts? If this is the most amount of spins it's ever gotten, then why isn't it up at number 6 at LEAST where it was before? I don't get the whole chart position thing, you would think it would be in the top 5 with that many spins.

TC is up to no.6 on mediabase AC chart.
Medaibase updates the chart everyday, it reflects the performence of the songs in the past 7 days.
the spins in these days would reflect on Billboard AC chart in next week.
If the spins keep going on this way, or at least not drop too many, it would go up on Billboard AC chart next week for sure.
