Are any of you interested in going on tours during your visit to Las Vegas for the final week of AND?

When I was there in January I took a flight over the Grand Canyon and a coach tour to Hoover Dam and Lake Mead.  It was fabulous and I want to do it again.
It would be much cheaper for all of us if we arrange a group tour.

We would have to go by coach.
The Grand Canyon is too far to get there and back before dinner and the show.

This is the best deal that I have found so far:

The Hoover Dam Bus Tour with a boxed lunch with a duration of 5 hours from hotel pickup to drop off would be $30 per person based on a minimum of 40 passengers

Is anyone interested?

Thanks for all your hard work my dear comfy sofa :wub:
(Z? is not coming to Vaegas with me :P )

I found another company that will let us hire the bus on a per hour charge + petrol.
We can work out our own itenirary.
It seats 55 people.
If we can get 55 people then it could work out to about $15 per person :)

I'm gonna keep the cost as low as possible so the "poor" people can have some fun too :lol:

That's the whole reason why I wanted to do this because I went on some tours in January and I was broke afterwards :D
I figured it would be a lot cheaper if we arrange it ourselves in a group.

So the more poeple that come - the cheaper it will be !!

Yeah, I'm in too! So that's already three out of the four Finns! It will be great to do other activities during the daytime besides shopping as well! I'm a shopaholic, though, so it's always a must activity when in Vegas!

The Tour company will create a special tour for us.
They`ll charge per hour + fuel charge.

I`d like to make it 8am to 5pm so that we have enough time to see everything and will still be back in time to get ready for dinner and Celine :)

This will make it $18pp
If we cut it down to 8hrs it will be $16pp

Majority rules :P

I`m working on an itenirary with the tour operator that will suit our budgets and time restraints.

sounds great...I'm a little worried about the ending time though. I'm staying with 3 ladies and believe me..it takes time when everybody takes a shower and changes their clothes 3 times.  :hmm:   :D

That should be a RULE!

Every passenger aboard the bus MUST shower in the morning, prior to boarding the bus!  :yes: :yes:  

This is crucial since we will be in the bus together for FIVE hours. I doubt these buses have air neutralizing machines installed in them!  :giggle:

yeah, i'd like to be back at 4p.m. the latest. It takes me AT LEAST an hour to get ready. And with the 4 of us sharing a room it can be sort of a chaos. lol
