TWO Nominations For Céline - 2006 ADISQ


Céline has received the nominations for "Female Artist Of The Year" and "Best Song Of The Year - Je Ne Vous Oublie Pas" at 2006 ADISQ (the music-awards of Quebec). The 28th Gala of ADISQ will be broadcast October 29th at 7:30 p.m. ET. on the Canadian TV network Radio-Canada live from Montreal's Saint Denis Theatre.

Yes, she is young but she's been out there for 25 years! You don't find many careers this long and always sucessful! Maybe because this is her 25th year they will give her the Best Female Artist Award. And that song really deserves to win too.
But I won't get my hopes too high.

But seriously, she hasn't recieved any awards in seven years because she, frankly, hasn't made any "actual" albums. They're all collectors' stuff. She had a baby and took two years off. And now she has her gig in Vegas. So she doesn't have much time, it seems.
But seven years? Really? Noooo. If she wins this year, it would only make it six LOL :P

She only recorded a couple new songs in French, though. They were great songs, and she did a lot of work with the new album/DVD...but I can't see her winning this year.

Once she releases her entirely new French CD, then that will be a different story!!!
