Posting "For Sale" or "For Trade" items
- Add the text, FS to the topic title if you are listing an item for sale. This will let others know your intention of the listing.
- When writing a description, be sure to describe your items in as much details as possible. It's a good idea to include images, often times, it gives more assurance to the other party. Potential buyers/traders will have an easier time with their decisions.
- You are free to charge whatever price you think the item is worth. Keep in mind that an easy to find item priced too high may lure buyers away. On the other hand, the high prices charged for promo cds, which are limited/rare, can be justified.
- Be careful to accept the different forms of payment. Paypal remains as one of the safest way to send money if sending to a confirmed address. For checks, allow at least 14 days for it to clear the bank.
- When making trades, be sure that the trade is fair before agreeing to enter into a deal. Remember that no money is being exchanged.
Buying items
- If you're making a request to buy an item, add the text, WTB to the topic title. It means Want to Buy and indicates the purpose of your listing.
- It's always a good idea to do some research on the item and then determining how much you are willing to pay before entering into an arrangement.
- Be absolute certain that the item is the correct one you want. It may be a different version, model or from a different year. Don't be afraid to ask the seller to clarify things. It would be time consuming and hassle if errors arise from simple misunderstandings.
Extended Guidelines:
- This is a public forum, don't post your address or personal/private information here. Use other methods - PM (Private Message) on this forum, Email, AOL, MSN, Yahoo, ICQ, etc. to exchange such information.
- You are NOT allowed to register here solely for the purpose of advertising your for-sale merchandise (including Ebay and other similar auctions). Members found to be doing this will have their account banned and all their listings removed. You have to be a member for at least 3 month, with a minimum of 100 posts.
- Do NOT sell or trade any Celine Dion files (mp3s, videos, pics, etc...) especially files that are provided by Celine Dion Forum/ Celine Channel. If you are caught selling Celine Dion Forum/ Celine Channel files, we may ban your account and restrict access to our forum and website. This is also applies for selling fake, unofficial and unauthorized items, including items described as 'gifts' and/or 'bonuses' on E-bay, or any other auction site. If you see a person selling these kind of items, please report them to the auction site and to the Administrators: Koolan and Bellamy.
- Use common sense when entering into a deal. Keep all contact information in a safe place, communication is very important.
Rules concerning threads in the Collectors Section:
- Please post questions in the thread especially made for this purpose. Not only for keeping the section tidy, but also to get a quick answer to your question. Please post Questions here.
- FS Topics and WTB Topics are closed when: all the items are sold, or when there has not been any activity for 6 months. The reason for this is to prevent useless bumping and posts and also to give the people who actually have items for sale a better chance of selling them.
- Repeat topics will be closed, deleted or merged.
- Each member is allowed one thread to sell their items. Please do not create multiple threads for your items. If members will make multiple topics, the topics will be merged.
