So suddenly, it's clear to me
Things change
Our future lies in here and now
We live it through somehow
Now the greatest reward
Is the love that I can give
I'm here for you now
For as long as I live
You made me who I am

And in December, Bennett will be presented with the Century Award, Billboard's highest honor for creative achievement, during the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas. Happy 80th birthday, Tony!
can we hope for a live performance with a French-Canadian singer???

celine loves duets , we all know that - i think not alot of artists recorded and performed so many duets like celine .
however i truely want her next english album in 2008 to be all about her and her golden voice.

great idea , but it would never happen.
there is a slim chance celine will do the duet with him as part of the tribute but she would never get the chance to sing another song - she is just not hot enough this days for them to let her sing for more than 2 minutes.

What a great idea! Something along the lines of Barbra Streisand's Duets album from 2002.
I can't wait to hear this new creation from Celine and Tony!

Genre: JAZZ
Label: Publisher: Warner/ Chappell Columbia
Tony Bennett, who just turned 80 and is Billboard's 2006 Century Award honoree, becomes ever cooler as he matures. His latest album, "Duets," aligns him with a dozen artists known for their vocal prowess and tests the versatility of Bennett and his partners, a la Bono, k.d. lang, Celine Dion and Stevie Wonder. "Just in Time," his duet with newly crowned AC staple Michael Bublé, is an ideal treat with its vast melodic charms and instantly recognizable voices. Bennett isn't a core artist at AC radio, but how fun that grown-ups get to be the hipsters this time around as Bennett tosses out a seemingly effortless, whimsical performance against the grand match of Bublé's proven gifts. A premier opportunity for the format to own its niche. —Chuck Taylor

Who do you think will be the producer of Celine's song?
Well... There's no need to answer this question!
According to CelineManiacs.com, Phis Ramone produced all the songs of the album.

In tribute to Tony Bennett's 80th birthday (August 3, 2006), SONYBMG will release a duets CD in honor of this milestone, to be in stores on September 26th. An impressive roster of vocalists joined Tony in the recording studio earlier this year to record duet versions of the songs most associated with Bennett's repertoire. Celine recorded a new duet called "If I Ruled The World" with the crooner. Among the list of guest duet artists are: Barbra Streisand, Bono, Elton John, John Legend, the Dixie Chicks, James Taylor, k.d. lang, Juanes, Elvis Costello, Tim McGraw and Sting.
Each artist performed live with Tony in studios in New York, Los Angeles and London and for many of these artists this "face to face" approach was a departure from their standard method of studio recording. Phil Ramone is the producer for this project.
