I live my life like a runaway
I hide my dreams in a special place
I'm waiting here for my prince to come
To save me from the darkness...

She recorded a new song with Tony Bennet the trumpet player!
It will be featured on his new "Duets album" out September 26th.
WOW, indeed very fine news!
It is always great to hear about new work from Céline, even when it is "only" one track, and especially in English!
Isn't Tony Bennett a singer, Suir?
If I Ruled The World is a very fine song, and would be considered Bennett's greatest hit, so it is a very important track on this album and anyone would be honoured to duet with him on this very track. It is an evergreen. Boring may be, but then again which dinner music is exiting then?? It is however a classic, and a very classy such. Fine lyrics, lounge perfect melody.
There are some mighty fine tracks in Bennetts discography, and some which I'd also enjoy if Céline performed are Cold, Cold Heart, Boulevard Of Broken Dreams and why not Night And Day, It Don't Mean A Thing If It Ain't Got That Swing and Mood Indigo. But like I said If I Ruled The World is really something for Céline to be proud of.
We should be very lucky Céline didn't do the horrible song Smile.
It's a quite impresive list of names Bennett has along with him on this album, with a few exceptions.
Poor all Barbra fans, could she be less creative?? This is the third album I know of where she has contributed with Smile. Did she bother to record a new version or did they just add Bennett's vocals to her old track??
What kinds of bugs me a bit by this album is why he has so many country stars on it.
And for those of you who don't know who Tony Bennet is: he has almost the same technique as Frank Sinatra. He's one of the few remaining great legends from the golden era of music. Way to go Céline by working with him while he's still alive!! Wait that sounded wierd... anyway, now she can go ahead working with Etta James!

I think jazz can be Celine's best choice right now, and this is a great oportunity to refresh her material!!
Can't wait to listen to this...
I was dying to get some news...well, they couldn't be more exciting!!

The song sounds boring. Maybe Celine will add something to it like she did with Bewitched.

How can you not like this song?! I respect your opinion, just shocked, I guess.
I don't know how people can call jazz boring! It's anything but for me. I think this kind of music requires so much skill and talent. I mean, pop songs all follow formulas, but jazz seems to have no rules.
