Lensed during the Canadian superstar's 2008-2009 Taking Chances World Tour (the second highest-grossing ever for a solo artist), Celine: Through the Eyes of the World opens a window into the real life, both on-stage and off, of the best-selling female recording artist of all time.

Director Stephane Laporte and team enjoyed unprecedented access to the decade's top performer as she played concerts in five continents, 25 countries and 93 cities, selling more than three million tickets during her first major tour in nine years.

"This was an amazing world tour, but there's a lot more than just concert footage on this film," said Celine.  "I let the cameras follow me everywhere. There are a lot of ups and downs, and it's very personal... It's definitely the most intimate journey that I've ever shared with my fans."

Clocking in at three hours, the home version of Celine: Through the Eyes of the World includes an additional hour's worth of footage not seen in the film's limited theatrical run in February 2010.

Working with choreographer/director Jamie King, Celine Dion created a multi-media state-of-the-art production for the two-hour concerts on her monumental Taking Chances World Tour, the eleventh of her career.  Running from February 2008 through February 2009, featuring both Anglophone and Francophone setlists, Celine's Taking Chances Tour broke attendance and box office records at venues around the world.

but the tracklist for dvd is still................
but from that it says 2 hour concert! so maybe they only list the songs that she sang?? cause u see on the cd IACBTMN/BYLM/TLYM is seperate but on the dvd it's in 1 track! as medley so i guess this could be it that they didn't write the tracktitle for the flamenco and the MHWGO remix probably it's include in EOM and IA remix so yeah i hope i'm right though, and it's ok that there's no IYA

I'm still a bit sad that they didn't include I'm Your Angel, but I'm pretty sure the DVD includes the videos. It wouldn't make sense to leave them out. The concert wouldn't flow properly if they leave them out...

Thank you soooo much Ronny!! We finally have an official press release on everything!!     I CAN NOT WAIT!!    My only question is... Is the deluxe combo edition dvd only available through CelineDion.com?
Will it be on sale at major retail stores? Walmart,BestBuy, Target ect... ??

I am kinda dissappointed in the whole thing, except for the extra's they will be awesome i think... but that cover picture doesn't capture the whole tour bad choice imo... and it's weird that on the cd we get the BYLM/IACBTMN/TLYM as 3 tracks, but on the dvd it's one just like the Opening/IDAN thing...

oh well nothing we can do about it anymooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooore

I'm worried about 3 things:

1: Where's the Montreal Concert DVD?   - I hope there's a seperate French press release soon!

2: If the deluxe edition is only being sold through CelineDion.com, does that mean it's only being released as Region 1 in the US?

3: The DVD tracklisting. IYA is definately gone, but let's pray that they've just merged the intervals with the songs for EOM and IA, instead of cutting them out!

EDIT: Forgot to mention - where's the Blu-ray of the concert!?!

This looks like a work-in-progress because when you click on details under "English" you get the French track list, and vice-versa, but it gives you an idea and answers some questions.
