Cheerfuljane Posted August 4, 2008 at 12:45 PM Posted August 4, 2008 at 12:45 PM (edited) I was shocked to hear that a reporter had leaked footage of the opening ceremony I was even MORE shocked to hear that the opening ceremony won`t be filmed live in the US So what if it`s in the morning. South Africa showed the 1996 ceremony at 1am and the Sydney one at noon. It just gets repeated in the evening so those poor souls that have to work get to see it. Bellamy Posted August 4, 2008 at 12:48 PM Posted August 4, 2008 at 12:48 PM That's how it works in China, and I believe in most countries. But seems US always delay broadcast, even when it's live in the US, they delay broadcast for every time zone. As I said before, I hope the Korean channel would be banned forever from Olympics. It's so unethical. Please support the forum by ordering everything through our special Amazon.com link Click here. Thank you!

amyja89 Posted August 4, 2008 at 01:05 PM Posted August 4, 2008 at 01:05 PM Yes Bellamy. That channel should be banned What is everyone`s favourite events? I love swimming, gymnastics, diving and athletics..... to name a few I love it all!!! I am a sport nut so the Olympics is like my idea of heaven! I really enjoy all the field events in athletics, high jump, pole vault, long jump etc. I also love to watch the gymnastics and diving. The only events that I don't particularly enjoy are the long distance races, anything over 1500 meters is a bit tedious in my mind, although obviously I admire the athletes for doing it!
Cheerfuljane Posted August 4, 2008 at 01:05 PM Author Posted August 4, 2008 at 01:05 PM I love watching ping-pong too. It fascinates me OMD.... I`m gonna be glued to my TV for 2 weeks
