Celine Dion Forum is happy to announce our "Taking Pictures" contest for members to win a signed copy of her biography, For Keeps. We gave away five copies of this book to five lucky members in 2005. The publisher was kind enough to offer another book for us to use on the forum. Thanks Tammie and Andrews McMeel Publishing!

 

Pleaes read carefully the following instructions on how to enter the contest. Every fan must have a favorite Celine item, find yours and ask a family member, friend, or whoever to take a picture of yourself AND the Celine item. I know not everyone have digital cameras so you are free to use any device as long as it's readable. We are looking for the most original and creative pictures. You're only limited by your own imagination! Do not steal others’ photos for submission. No image editing is permitted other than to resize, crop and color balance your shot.

 

Please send and attach the picture to our email On the subject, write your forum username and For Keeps contest. For example, if your username is JaneDoe you would write JaneDoe For Keeps contest. Entries without the username on the subject will be disqualified. You must use the email address associated with your account here. This is to discourage cheating and ensure member's email used on the forum work. If you've changed your email address or want to check the current email address on file for your account, please click HERE.

 

The contest will start on August 6, 2008 at 00:01 (GMT-08:00) Pacific Time and end on September 6, 2008 at 23:59 (GMT-08:00) Pacific Time. After that date, our five judges (Koolan, Bellamy, CheerfulJane, Thomas, lamourpourCeline) will pick their top 20 favorites. Then, the top 6 with the most votes will be entered in a random drawing. The winner will be notified by PM and email.

 

Official Rules:

 

-No purchase is necessary to enter.

 

-One entry per member.

 

-This contest is open to U.S. and international residents.

 

-All taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.

 

-The contest will start on August 6, 2008 at 00:01 (GMT-08:00) Pacific Time and end on September 6, 2008 at 23:59 (GMT-08:00) Pacific Time.

 

-You and the Celine item must be present on the picture. Other people can be included as well.

 

-Do not steal others’ photos for submission. No image editing is permitted other than to resize, crop and color balance your shot.

 

-Send your picture to and include your forum username and the text, For Keeps Contest on the subject. Use the email address associated with your forum account to send. If you've changed your email address, please click HERE to update it.

 

-Members must have a minimum of 50 messages posted on the forum, this does NOT include messages in the Celine Multimedia section. Aditionally, do not write unthoughtful, one-line, or one-word messages in order to reach the minimum requirement.

 

-Winners of our prior For Keeps Contest are not eligible.

 

-Nudity, sex or other offensive content are not permitted. We reserve the right to refuse entries due to graphic violence, sex, drugs, and other questionable content.

 

-Members found to be cheating will have their account banned.

No modify after you take a picture. To be fair to fans don't use PS. Also to prevent you put yourself with something you don't have or somewhere you were not there. I'm not quite sure about about modify a Celine pic, I think it depends how you do it. I think put yourself beside her shouldn't be allowed. Other than that, like remove some wrinkles, make her look a bit better is not a big problem.

Other than that, like remove some wrinkles, make her look a bit better is not a big problem.
