Wendy, how were the other shows you visited? The 27th was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G, we had special t-shirts and Céline came down to us to read what was on it and she gave us a high five! You should have been there, really! I will write a review this week, it will be put on www.celinedion.com.br in English and Dutch with some pictures, and I will put the text online here also. Just give me some time to get over my jetlag...

We, too, had a wonderful time and it was great to meet you all. Did any of your party get the rose on Thursday night? Don Bellamy (the other rapper) wasn't in the show on Saturday. Pity reallly, because it was better with the two of them. Was he there Thursday?
I don't know if I mentioned to you but inside the Colosseum before the show on Wednesday we saw René (not to speak to) along with Michel.
Saturday's show was REALLY special. René-Charles was sitting on the front row and Céline's best friend, Robin, was there with her three children. René was in the audience too (but we didn't spot him) along with one of Céline's sisters and her husband (didn't see them either), but we did see Patrick Angelil as we were leaving.
As you can imagine, having René-Charles there made it special for everyone. Céline was really excited and kept making little gestures, blowing kisses etc, as did some of the dancers and singers. When she sang "If I Could" she sat on the opposite side of the stage right in front of him, and guess who got the rose at the end? He seemed a little embarrassed, but then what 6 year old wouldn't!!! Céline had a hard time singing If I Could because her emotions were running so high. When she'd finished she told the audience that she'd asked her friend Robin to help her out but she was no use at all because when Céline looked at her for support she was in floods of tears
It was a really wonderful show and, because its the last time I shall see it, made it all the more memorable

Man, I need to start buying tissues from now, cause I don't think I can get enough of them to last me during the final show

Shirt 1 (me): Céline & your team...
Shirt 2 (my mum): You all touch our hearts!
Shirt 3 (Janine's mum): So proud to be your fan...
Shirt 4 (Janine): Un grand merci from HOLLAND!
Review coming in a few days, Céline called us her 'teleprompters'!
Wendy, the rose went to a man who was also on first row. At the beginning of the show Céline gave him a wink and when she gave him the rose, she looked quite sad, like she was sorry for him for something. Maybe he was ill, I don't know, or maybe I am completely wrong. But it was obvious that she knew him or had met him. But it was ok, all her attention went to us that night, so we were completely blown away by her grace and kindness!

They all came in just as the show started but at the end René-Charles was taken out via the stage. We could just see Céline in the wings waiting for him (well the edge of her dress really). They put René-Charles on the big screen twice - once at the end of If I Could and, in my opinion, he was just sooo embarrassed

===================================================================
Janine and I went to Las Vegas on September 23rd, together with our mums. They both are huge fans of Céline, just like us. We knew it would be our last time in Vegas and we wanted to make it a special week. We had tickets for the 26th and 27th of September. The first night we would be at Orchestra 4, row BB; the second night at Orchestra 4, row AA, so that’s front row and we would be sitting exactly in the middle of the theatre!
Shirt 1 (me): Céline and your team…
Shirt 2 (my mum): You all touch our hearts!
Shirt 3 (Janine’s mum): So proud to be your fan…
Shirt 4 (Janine): Un grand merci from HOLLAND!
We wanted to mention the members of Céline’s team in our message as well, because we think there would not be a show without them. They are such a big part of the show, they put so much energy in this, they gave up part of their lives for it and they gave us so many wonderful memories during the years in Vegas, they deserve a big bow for that! It was out of the question that they had to be put in our spotlights as well.
We arrived Sundaynight and we just could not wait until it was Wednesday, when we would visit the show for the first time. That day we had lunch with other fans, including some members of the Céline Dion-forum (Wendy and her husband Steve from England and Parwin, a fan from Thailand who would see Céline for the very first time). We had a great time, it was wonderful to be able to talk with people who understand how amazing it is to be in Vegas and see Céline’s show! Wendy had seen the show the week before and could tell us all about the changes. After our lunch we spent some more time in Caesars and after that we went back to our hotel to get ready for the show. We went to Caesars really early. When we walked into the Colosseum, it felt like coming home. It was so wonderful to be on second row and see Céline again! When â€A new day has come’ started, I was feeling goosebumps everywhere…
And what a night that would be! I have to tell you guys that my mom first wasn’t too excited about our plans with the t-shirts. But she had to wear it, because we all did and it would look strange if she was the only one not wearing the same shirt. She had no choice!
Now we are home and we have to get used to the idea that this was our last time in Vegas. But at the same time we have wonderful memories and no one can take them away from us. In 2003 I attended the premiere of the show with my mum, together with many other fans including Estevam. In 2004 I went to Vegas with a group of friends, including a good friend of me, José. In 2005 I got to meet Céline backstage with Janine, my dear friend. And now all of this… Thank you Céline, for your kindness and grace, we truly are proud to be your fan. And a big thank you for everyone who works in Céline’s team, you deserve a standing ovation for all of your hard work. And to all the other people who were in the audience that special night: you also made it a memorable night for us! It was GREAT! See you in Europe!
