Just wanted to share my AND review with you all! (IMG:http://www.celinedionforum.com/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
We saw AND 5 times this past week while in Vegas. It was incredible, once again. Celine was in her best form. She was possibly in the best mood I have ever seen her be in. Very involved with the audience. She gave us a ton of attention; lots of kisses and winks. One girl next to us was amazed at how much she acknowledged us. Some things have changed throughout the show. Mainly her hair, again! She has added back her extentions and dyed her hair slightly darker than usual. No highlights. It looks very good on her. She also does not put her hair up in a pony tail when she changes into her tuxedo outfit. It was down the entire night until MHWGO & WAWW. 1st night: She gave the rose to a young girl, maybe 3 years old, sitting in Orch. 3 Row AA sitting with her mom. She was so adorable; blonde curly hair and wearing a long white dress. She had a small stuffed frog to give to Celine. As Celine walked towards her she quietly asked the mother for permission to give the rose to her daughter. She accepted, of course. The young girl met Celine on the steps and exchanged the frog for the rose and hugged Celine. It melted her heart; you could tell she didn't want to let the little girl go. When she walked back on stage she used the frog's hand to wave back to the little girl. She waved bye to the audience with the frog, as well. She kept giving everyone an "Awww" look. It was too cute! Then when she walked back stage she stood at the edge and clapped the frog's hands for the dancers and musicians. When Elijah was left on stage he acted like he was going to steal the frog and Celine played a little with that. Kind of back-and-forth. So cute. Right before "All the Way" she stopped while talking about Frank Sinatra to tell us that the "rumbling" noises we were hearing was not because of a technichal difficulty, but because there were fireworks outside. She said it was part of the show tonight. Come to find out...as we left Caesars, it was not fireworks, it was thunder! It was thundering and lightening and had rained some! Silly Celine! (IMG:http://www.celinedionforum.com/style_emoticons/default/giggle.gif) After the show we saw Patrick and said hello; he seemed to be in a hurry though. The as we walked up the stair to exit Ramona spotted Rene, and we walked over to say hello to him. He was talking with some other ladies and when he saw us he asked Ramona, "How many times tonight?" She told him "60 times" and he laughed and told the ladies, "This woman has seen the show 60 times tonight!" He also asked her "How is everything going?" She said good, and we said good-bye because there were numerous people waiting for their turn to talk to him. I thought that maybe he was in the audience because during "All the Way" Celine kept winking at someone towards the back of Front Orch. seats. It was my first time to see him so up close, and to talk to him. Although, I didn't say a word because I completely went blank. There were so many things we wished we would of said to him, but there is always next time I guess. We saw the show Sat, Sun, Wed, Thurs, and Fri. They were all pretty much the same, with a few little excitements here and there. One big one was... Friday night the audience was spectacular! So energized and very vocal! There was a special guest tonight, too! Right before "To Love You More" she did her usual speech about being there 4 years and yada-yada-yada. Then she announced that she had a special guest and talked about his career some. Guess who? The one and only...Taro Hakase! He performed with her because it is his 10th anniversary for his career and they are doing a documentary on him! It was incredible! She gave him the rose, of course. He was on stage with her and she pretended to walk towards the crowd, but then turned around and handed it to him. We also met him after the show. Took pictures with him and everything. How cool that you saw Rene too. It's my goal to try and spot him at some point when I go back in November. I truly would love to hear Celine's performance with Taro from this documentary. Maybe a Japanese fan from this might be able to share this with us in the future! And yes, Celine is very CUTE. She is absolutely adorable in person when I saw her. You and Ramona seem to have had a wonderful time together! Your experience sounded great. But I have a question. I will be going to see AND for the 3rd time on August 17th. This time I would like to meet some of the key figures we all talk about.

One funny thing, you´re really gonna laugh.... I was in Vegas from June 24 till July 2nd (with my mum). July 1st was our last night, so that night (around 9.30 / 10.00 pm -I don´t know the exact time) we were packing our bags in our room at the Flamingo hotel. We had a really nice room, with a view at Caesars + the Colosseum. Anyway, we were packing our stuff and what caught our surprise.....THERE WERE FIREWORKS!!!!! It was absolutely beautiful, it just went on and on. We´d been at Caesars that afternoon and they were preparing for a private party at the swimming pool area; that´s where the fireworks came from! So Céline new what she was talking about..... Maybe she went to the party after her show.....?? No, she probably didn´t... That night we´ve actually been joking about it; Céline dedicating ´If I could´ to René-Charles, very important moment in the show...., and being interupted by fireworks... But then we said to eachother, no way you can hear that in the Colosseum......So funny to read that you COULD actually hear it! I just wanted to share this with all of you... Christa |
