NEW YORK, Feb. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Columbia Records is set to release Anastacia, the third full-length album -- and first for Columbia -- from the multi-million selling artist Anastacia. Already a #1 chart-topping album in nine countries (& #1 all of Europe), Anastacia will be available to American fans on Tuesday, June 21.

"Left Outside Alone," the anthemic first single from Anastacia, written by Anastacia and Grammy Award-winners Glen Ballard and Dallas Austin, has become the #1 airplay song in 11 countries.

The door to success opened for Anastacia in 2000 when her debut album, Not That Kind, reached the Top 10 in eight European and Far East countries. By the time her second album, Freak of Nature, was released in 2002, the Anastacia buzz had hit the United States with special guest artist Anastacia joining Mary J. Blige, Cher, Shakira, Celine Dion, and the Dixie Chicks on- stage for the fifth annual VH1 "Divas Live" showcase.

Born in Chicago and raised in New York City, Anastacia discovered her passion for pop and dance music as a devotee of the New York club scene. Hi!

I just wonder if there are any fans of Anastacia here? I'm sure there are!

I like Anastacia's songs and her weird :xmas_biggrin: voice very much. She's making an inetersting music, I should say. I like her early songs and her latest songs but not her early style. Well, I mean clothes and everything. Remember how she was at the Divas in 2002 performing with Celine? That was pretty awful IMO. Now she looks much more beautiful and femine! :in_love: And her latest songs are great, to my mind. Hace you heard Pieces of a Dream? That's a great one definitely! Everything Burns with Ben Moody is also a good one. And her song I Your Eyes which is going 2 b her next single is just AMAZING. This is one of her few songs where her voice sounds really tender. Well, tender in her own way, of course but still... That's not like "Seasons Change" ( :sick: ) or "I Do", at least! :msn-wink:

I have her Freak of Nature album, i love mostly all the songs on it! Other than that I dunno too much about her, I know she is from the USA but her claim to fame was in Europe and she debuted in the states on that Divas Live show...soooo i dunno. She is a great artist, different to my taste, but still awesome. I love the song "One Day In Your Life' and "Paid My Dues"

I love Anastacia! I have her Not That Kind and Freak Of Nature albums and pretty much like all of the songs on them. I really don't know much about her as a person, but I love her unique voice and music.

I have "Freak Of Nature" and her recent GH "Pieces Of A Dream". I like her songs, except "I'm Outta Love". I suggest you to buy her GH, it is great. :clap:

Yeah, her GH are great really but IMO it's better to buy her self-titled album "Anastacia" (which includes her smash super hits Left Outside Alone, Sick & Tired, Welcome To My Truth and Heavy On My Heart) which was released in 2004. Her latest songs, as I have already told are great! Especially her duet with the guy from Evanescence Ben Moody. The song is called Everything Burns. Her latest single I Belong to You with Eros Ramazzotti is also quite a hit! Pieces of a Dream is just like some kind of a shock therapy! :shocking: I mean, the song is REALLY INCREDIBLE! :wacko:

So... Anastacia is one of the best singers these days, I think. Well, at least she's got her own style in music. Voice... Yeap... Voice is really easy to recognise... :lol:

I like her. I like One day in you'r life, Coubows and kisses, Sick and tired,... I have her "Anastacia" album, and think that she is one of the best singers of today. She don't have scandals around her name, she bild her cariere on her voice, not on other stuff. I hope you understand me, cause my english isn't soo good

I Do is one of my most unfavorites songs of Ana. :confused:

I also don't like Seasons Change. This 2 songs are just not for me. My favorite song of Anastacia is You'll Never Be Alone. :in_love:

What do you mean? I actually haven't heard the POAD version of You'll Never Be Alone coz I thought the wouldn't be any difference between the same tracks. So is there any? Is the music different or has Ana re-recorded it? :huh:

Wow! To be honest, I don't like the way she used to look 4 or 5 years ago, that was something really freaky... :pinch: But now she's completely different and she's really cute! And her latest songs like Pieces of a Dream and I Belong to You or In Your Eyes are better and more beautiful than her earlier songs. :in_love: Well, that's my opinion, of course. Still, my favorite Ana's song is You'll never be alone.

Hi guys, I'm also a very big fan of Anastacia, she's my 2nd favorite singer I think she sounds really great and you can't compare it to any other artists, she's just "sprocky" *lol* Until now I saw her 3 times in concert and during the last concert (July 2005 in Frankfurt) I had the opportunity to be very close to her and i recorded her full perfomance of "Everything Burns". I uploaded it for you Enjoy it, she sounds great :=)

:clap: Anastacia is awesome i am a big fan of hers and i just can´t get enough of her big raspy soulful voice i own all her albums and my favorit is Not That Kind and Freak Of nature, Anastacia is pretty good to and her greatest hits album is wonderful. :thumbsup2:

She is currently working on her new album which should be out in OCTOBER and hopefully a TOUR will follow after that :w00t:

I cant wait. Its been ages :wub:

She also changed record companies, from Sony to Universal. Good move I say :lol:
