Hi...I've read the topics started by Aly and Denelle, about their obsession with certain songs.
Well, here's mine.
It's been months now since I'm completely obsessed with this song:



It's by an Electronic Tango Group from Argentina called "Bajofondo", feat. Mexico's Julieta Venegas.
The name of the song is "Pa'Bailar" (for dancing).

I can't take this song out of my head (nor my signature)
Just wanted to share it

Well, I kinda felt it was too "ethnic", and things were a little "judging" and "discriminatory" a few weeks ago, so to avoid something like: "...this is the English section, write in english", I decided to cut it off

First of all (and please don't get mad) try PLEASE to write down my name properly...you have called me grobion, grobondon, grobiodon...or just call me Oscar or GD, okay?
Second, I'm glad you're getting into the electronic tango groove.
I'm not a fan of this sub-genre, I'm just a bit obsessed with this particular song
I DO love however traditional Tango, specially the great Julio Sosa, who is one of the greatest Tango performers in history and died very young, and eclipsed by the name and figure of Carlos Gardel
In the internet you can find almost everything about them, and also about "Bajofondo" as well

I'm not a Tango expert, nor a big fan. I really, really like the lyrics of most of the songs. I find them amazing.
Composers just don't write such amazing songs nowadays.
I strongly suggest you songs like: "Uno", "Nada" and "Balada para un loco", three of my favs.
And if you can't stand words, then Astor Piazzola is for you...try "Adios nonino", a true gem

thats because the pic with him in the cowboy hat, thats  from brokeback mountain, where the story line is about two cowboys who lurve each other lol,  :wub:


and yeah, i speak perfect Spanish, i understand everything you say lol NOW spelling Spanish words out is a completely different story, but i can get bye :yes:

I am so glad you liked it!!! That song is a gem, as most of Astor Piazzolla's work is.
You can find that song being played at the wedding of Maxima Zorreguieta. She's the current princess of Holland, and this song made her cry at her wedding...so moving

I'm happy I was useful....need anything else, let me know.
How about Julio Sosa? have you heard anything from him?
Also, check out "El mareo", the new single by Bajofondo. And the group Narcotango is also great.
