As the saying goes, you don't know what you've got till it's gone.....
The times I was able to fly to Vegas to Celine was so much fun and it seemed like you knew she would always be there at Caesars for us.....I knew it would end but.... Now that it has been over for nearly 3 months, I'm still suffering from PCTSS Post Celine Traumatic Stress Syndrome Seeing Celine in Las Vegas was so special. i know what you are going though . i miss it so much itho im going to london the 6th and 8th may and have 2nd row team celine and previously vegas ,lets talk ,falling and coulor tours but vegas will alway be in my sweetest memories.

I know this feeling all to well. Every time I pull up my Vegas pics on my computer, I get greatly depressed...It's just so sad to me for some reason. Hey Everyone..... there's no question that we miss that "stability" of Celine being in Las Vegas. I know that many of us spontaneously blasted off to Vegas to see her whenever we got a hold of tickets.... and even if we didn't have tickets.!!
I thought about getting tickets for her tour when it rolls around to Toronto but after looking at the seating plan absolutely NOTHING would compare to the AA 301 or 401's that I managed to grab from Ticketmaster for LVegas. Agree ?? But a huge THANK YOU to everyone, especially Thomas, who are providing us with glimpses into the comings and goings of Celing during this tour. Also, I had a few days off of work last month (end of Feb) and went to Vegas for a few days. I gotta tell you guys and gals..... the sight of Bette Midler paraphanalia (sp?) all over the place where normally I would see CD stuff left me feeling nauseous..... There is absolutely NO WAY that Bette Midler is going to draw the long term crowd in that Celine did...... last time I checked... she didn't have much of a "google" interest.!!!! So, to sumarize..... Celine, you rock... always did...always will...... we miss you........ xoxoxoxoxoxxoxoxoxoxoxoxox Obsessed With CELINE !!!

Yeah, we know really well the feeling. I almost always get me thinking about my days there and how magical they were. I don't think I'll ever experience something like that again! I cry, but not for no reason. I cry because I saw her 5 days in a row. I cry because it was over faster than I had expected. I cry because I wish those days could come back once more. I cry because she's not coming to my country. I cry because I won't be able to see a single show of the world tour. I cry because I'm so lucky to have seen her and I cry because I wish this could happen more often than only once in a lifetime. I don't think I would go back to Vegas without Céline there. It was stressful enough being there for two weeks after the final night and seeing all that before was Céline transformed into Bette Midler.
And about Bette Midler's show, like MustangSven said, there's no way she's gonna be there as long as Céline was. I met a taxi driver while I was there who's been working in Vegas for more than 13 years, and he said Céline was the biggest attraction and that Bette would never be compared to her... That's sad Vegas is over cause it was the most special moment of my whole life, but as an Irish proverb I read says, "May the best day of your past be the worst day of your future" So who knows where the road will lead me? Yeah, I've already considered that, but the problem is that I can't afford... There's the Visa applying taxes, the plane tickets, the accomodation... It's a lot of money for me to pay, specially considering that I'm still paying Vegas and I'll just be over with all my debts by the end of the year... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused.gif)

So I'm doing some work around my house the other day and I put in the AND dvd. I figure that it will provide a little background mood music while I'm working.
Well, as soon as it starts I'm hooked all over again. I'm thinking about where I sat the first time. Then the next time. Remembering Caesars. Remembering how kick a$$ the show was! Augh! Seeing Celine's show actually changed my perspective on Las Vegas - the last time I was there it sucked. The town was stuck between classic Vegas and.......where it was going. I don't think it knew entirely where it was going.
After seeing the show the first time I went back a year later and loved everything. I really think she helped Las Vegas for years to come. I was kind of hoping that Caesars would rename things: "The Celine Dion Theatre at the Coliseum, Caesars Palace" |

I'll be going to Vegas a couple of times this year with a friend, it will not be the same without Celine...but I will definately stop in the "spots" where I once took pics of her posters and signs...just to reminise (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif)
